I have to say I do like Sabrent products, this drive is well made, looks stylish and works very well. I've paired it with a Sabrent 2tb rocket nvme and using the Blackmagic speed test, it gives read and write speeds of 3200mbps. I've come to trust Sabrent over several years of buying their NVMe SSDs and enclosures. This USB4 enclosure is a step up, with a small internal fan, very neat thermal strips, and high performance. With a WD SN850X 4TB 4.0 NVMe SSD installed, it benchmarked at 7.6GB/s read and write. That's gigabytes, not gigabits. After running tests, the enclosure was warm, not hot, to the touch.
